How Much Longer Is a Tall Tee?
A tall tee or tall t-shirt typically runs 3-4 inches longer than the regular version, with the width unchanged. There's no industry standard, though - every brand sets its own sizing standards, so the exact length varies from label to label.
What About Pants? For bottoms, most brands call it long once the inseam hits 36 inches or longer. Below that, you're in standard territory.
Beyond Long, Tall, and Big: Brands Cutting for Body Shape
Here's what's changed in the last few years: the better menswear brands stopped treating "bigger" as one slider and started cutting for actual body shape. Length, width, and where you carry your weight are three different problems, and the labels finally figured that out.
Shirts are leading the way.
