Dreo Smart Fan Design and Build Quality

At first glance, the Dreo PolyFan 704S impressed me with its sleek, modern design and I appreciate its aesthetic appeal that will fit seamlessly into any contemporary home or office. However, it is important to consider that this modern look wasn't so out of place in my more "lake house" motif that blends modern technology with retro chic as well. Certainly it is far more aesthetically pleasing than cheap white plastic fans that you can find at Walmart. 

Without a doubt, this was at the same level of quality that I expect in my home ... and not something purely utilitarian that stands out like a sore thumb.

The PolyFan 704S's portability is also important - while this isn't designed to be truly mobile, its lightweight construction makes it easy to move from room to room as needed. At just 12.91 pounds, you won't struggle to reposition it when you might need to ventilate a room due to a craft project or you need to cool off without turning the whole house AC on.

Also, with a height adjustment range of 37.1 to 43 inches, you can customize the airflow to suit your needs, whether you're sitting or standing.

Performance and Power

In regards to performance, the Dreo PolyFan S doesn't disappoint. Its airflow efficiency impressed me, delivering a powerful 882 CFM that can cool spaces up to 100 feet away.

Dreo does an excellent job of striking a balance between practicality and comfort across all of their products and I appreciate that. Unlike how Dyson products tend to be a bit "show offy" and present themselves as being technological wonders that need to stand out ... I feel like Dreo's line of home environment products (fans, air filters etc) do a similarly great job of delivering excellent performance, good efficiency, and smooth, quiet operation ... all while fitting in with your existing space.

There are six different modes here and all of them are accessible by the mobile app. 

While none of them are distractingly disruptive, sound levels can go as low as 25 dB, making this a great option to have in your TV room or to cool down your living room on game night when you just need a light breeze. This acoustic performance is achieved through careful noise reduction techniques, including a brushless DC motor and custom blade design.
