Anti-Aging For Men Is About A Healthy Lifestyle, Not Just Looking Good
This review of Loom Footwear's waterproof sneakers was a bit challenging because on one hand I REALLY liked the shoes, they were well made and super comfortable... but as a size 13 guy with one foot a bit bigger than the other, well... it just didn't fit right. They did send a pair to my wife and her feet were a bit more narrow and so it fit better than than mine did. The key to success here is for guys with big feet, order a size larger than you think you need.
These Chore Farm Leather Chelsea boots really caught my eye. While “The Original Muck Boot Company” has a far more utilitarian heritage - with a name that evokes trudging through damp soil while doing farm work and needing to be rugged enough to protect your feet from whatever your are trudging through - while being able to clean off that “muck” from your feet - these on the other hand are as stylish as they are rugged. Plus, they fit great too!
You know the people... those ones bopping their head while walking down the street and sometimes they are talking to themselves. We used to mock these people staying they must be high or pity them for being mentally insane. The reality over the past decade or so is that these are just folks jamming out to music by plugging earbuds into their heads and effectively sealing off reality. Not only is this dangerous but it is also disruptive to those around them in busy city environments for instance and tragic in other situations like a hike where you might like to enjoy some music... but not miss the natural sounds of creeks, birds, or the wind blowing through the trees. That's where Lucyd comes in and offers an alternative to make music and calls on the go safer while not isolating you from the environment.
While I respect and support the notion of sustainability and fair trade practices, I'm a firm believer that those factors need to come secondary to quality and value. As such, I haven't really been a big proponent of alternative fibers since in years past, cotton reined supreme. Things are starting to change now and I'm supremely impressed by the quality and value that WAMA offers in their ethically manufactured hemp underwear.
Finding the perfect fitting shirt can be a daunting task, especially for big men like myself. It's not just about looking stylish... it's also about feeling comfortable and confident in your attire. This sense of confidence can be the difference between a night spent making friends, building business contacts, and romancing your partner... one or spent continually trying to pull your shirt down to cover your belly and a focus on hiding - instead of leaning forward.
Good shoes are one of the most important things to bring with you on any cruise. While people think first of jackets for Alaska cruises and swimsuits for warm weather voyages - a good solid pair of shoes for wearing around the ship is essential. While cruise lines do an excellent job of making sure that wet surfaces are dried quickly... damp outdoor decks are subject to weather and the area around pools is notoriously slippery due to dripping wet swimwear. Ultimately though, the challenge is finding a great pair of shoes that is stable enough for these situations that is also comfortable enough to wear all day long and yet still be appropriate to wear to dinner.
Buying clothes nowadays is not as simple as it used to be. Nowadays, clothing brands have various sizes you can choose from. And one specific sizing option that causes confusion is tall and long sizes.
I can't promise that your golf game will improve but these glasses will help with depth perception and reducing the distraction that heavier sunglasses might cause when out on the course. Uswing is an interesting brand that I like .. but can't quite get my head around since it produces a product that offers surprisingly good quality but the packaging and presentation makes it feel like a cheap Chinese imitation.
Living in San Diego, I've become somewhat of a flip flops snob as they are pretty much all I ever wear unless I'm going somewhere that needs protection from the weather or more support. What I've not seen before was a pair of men's sandals that have a bottle opener built right into the sole. Till now! These Fanning men's sandals are functional and they also feel great for walking around town.
The brand Florsheim is widely recognized but I feel like many folks - including myself - identify it as more conservative, fancier, and though very well constructed... not always the most comfortable shoes. That has clearly changed in the last few years as two of my absolutely favorite and most comfortable shoes are made by Florsheim. This includes the Lakeside "boat shoe" that I took with me on a recent cruise and has now earned it's place as my preferred show for traveling.
We are entering a great era for men who want to choose unique, good-looking wedding bands. While you can still pick traditional styles and materials, a new generation of designers have brought a raft of cool, contemporary alternatives to the table.
Safety razors have recorded a comeback into the mainstream world thanks to their high quality and durability. Business professionals prefer shaving with a safety razor instead of choosing disposable products that eventually fail regarding shaving quality. Since the average man travels at least once a year due to work or personal life, you’ll find a new challenge in searching for suitable safety razor travel cases.
A classic leather wallet is a staple in any man’s wardrobe. With so many options available, it’s difficult to find the best balance of quality, style, and price without getting overwhelmed. Whether you’re looking for genuine leather, eco-friendly options, RFID protection, or superior style, there are options for you.
Every man wants to look their best, and many are willing to pay thousands of dollars to achieve that. But disregarding a few simple rules will lead to committing the same the cringe-worthy fashion mistakes many of us are guilty of.
The man bun is a terrible trend that needs to go away. It represents the worst aspects of feminized masculinity possible. While long hair can be rugged and masculine, putting it up in a bun is like hiding your power. I'm not saying that you have to have long hair to be a strong modern man... but what's the point of growing it long just to tie it up and look like a woman in the process? Despite my feelings on this ridiculous hairstyle, it seems to be permeating certain sectors of society and splintering into all sorts of sub-styles of the man bun. Which one drives you the most crazy when you see it?
If you're looking to make a statement, these are the boots to wear. However, unlike some similar patriotic pieces of clothing, these are legitimately awesome boots that are as good for work as they are for a night on the town. Granted, you gotta be a bold type of guy but while these boots look great - they are also the same Wolverine quality that you already know and love. So, if you are looking for something fun for that tailgate party, or guys night out... these are a pair of kick butt boots that you should check out!
There's two kinds of clothing companies that I primarily see - fashion and utility. Sometimes clothing is just something you have to wear and in that case, a polo and jeans is just fine. Other times you want to take things to the next level and not just look great but feel amazing too. Sadly most fashion brands that pitch us ignore the bigger men out there. Psycho Bunny however embraces big guys like me and I absolutely love their styles. They sent me two polos to check out and I'm thrilled to share about them with you guys.
Everyone is jumping on the off-road bandwagon right now but the guys at Dirt Co. are legit. Not only are these the same guys who run the MINT 400 but they genuinely love getting dirty. The passion shows with some of the most awesome tee-shirts that I've seen anywhere as well as my current favorite hat. Let's check out some of our favorite products found at Dirt Co.
There are boots and other pieces of clothing that I buy because it looks good - and others I buy because it's practical. I love it though when I find a great pair of boots that is stylish, rugged, and has a great story and deep heritage behind it. That's what I found in these Blundstone Super 550 Boots that they sent me to review. It would have been a shame to simply wear them around town, so I took them on an adventure along the California coast, exploring Big Sur and Carmel.
Hats are an essential part of my traveling gear since frankly I don't like to use sunscreen except when I really need it. While I have a couple sun hats that are perfect for the beach, sometimes you need something that looks great on or off the trail that is comfortable, stylish, and protects you from the sun. That's what I loved about this fedora that Coolibar sent me to check out on a recent trip to Vegas.
