If you’re planning a guys’ trip and looking for the perfect dog-friendly spot to stay in Richmond, Virginia, look no further than Quirk Hotel. This is great property that hosted us during our Richmond, Virginia guys trip. While it is a bit more feminine than I normally prefer - the fact that it is dog-friendly is a big advantage when faced with the question of whether you leave a man's best friend behind or take him with you as "one of the guys" on an epic adventure through Richmond.
From the moment you step into Quirk Hotel, you’ll be captivated by its stylish, artistic ambiance. The hotel seamlessly blends modern elegance with historic charm, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. Rooftop Bar with Stunning Views
One of the highlights of staying at Quirk Hotel is the rooftop bar, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy stunning views of the Richmond skyline. Like the rest of the property, it is dog-friendly, so even if you have to leave your fur baby at home, chances are there's going to be someone up there looking for a bit of extra attention!
Prime Location in the Heart of Richmond
Quirk Hotel’s prime location in downtown Richmond makes it an excellent base for your adventures. You’ll be within walking distance of some of the city’s best restaurants, bars, and cultural attractions plus it is right on a main bus line - this line actually functions more like a tram since it has dedicated lanes and actual stations, so it's very nice! (it's also only a couple blocks from GWARbar)
Dog-Friendly Amenities
Quirk Hotel goes above and beyond to ensure your furry friend feels just as pampered as you do. They are dog-friendly up to 70 lbs. The closest park is less than three blocks away, and there are plenty of other parks within easy walking distance as well.
The hotel charges a $75 fee per dog, per stay and there are water bowls by the entrance to the hotel. Additionally, guests with dogs are assigned to the hotel's second floor so that it is easily accessible should there be any issues with the elevator in an emergency.
In our experience, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable with regards to being ready to help with recommendations for nearby parks and pet-friendly spots, making it easy to explore Richmond with your canine companion.
