Have you ever wondered what it would be like to sneak into the exclusive Haven area on a Norwegian cruise ship? This area is designed as a private retreat complete with a private pool, bar, restaurant, and lounge area. It also has some of the most luxurious cabins available anywhere on the ship. Let's take a look at what things would look like if you booked the Owners Suite in the Haven complex on Norwegian Joy!
We had the chance to check out the Deluxe Owner's Suite with Large Balcony during a media preview in 2019 after it was renovated from the previous Chinese configuration. The entire Haven complex is simply stunning and while the entire ship is among the nicest at sea - Haven takes things to the next level.
There are two of these suites on the ship and this one is Haven suite 19100, with a total space of 1,458 sq ft. The Haven Owner's Suite includes floor to ceiling windows, a living room and dining room with wet bar, separate luxury shower and bathtub with ocean views from the bathroom, and a large wardrobe dressing area with full closet. There is also a second bedroom (not pictured below) that includes its own bathroom with shower.
All haven guests get access to a concierge and 24-hour butler service as well as the private, secluded courtyard area including a private pool, private restaurant, and Horizon Lounge. For some Haven guests that may have read about the original configuration, it is slightly disappointing that the HUGE observation lounge that was an exclusive Haven area is now open to the public like it is on Norwegian Bliss and Encore. Don't worry though ... you can still enjoy it too. It just won't be as exclusive as it once was.
