# U-Boat Worx Super Sub Will Let You Cruise Underwater With Sharks And Dolphins *By James Hills — Updated July 2023* Have you ever dreamed of not merely riding above the waves but being able to dive below them? Well then, you are in for a treat. Dutch submersible manufacturer, U-Boat Worx, has revealed the fastest addition yet to its already impressive fleet of models - the Super Sub. This appropriately named personal submarine can carry 3 people up to 300 meters below the surface and cruise at up to 8 knots underwater! To put that into comparison, 8 knots is about 1-2 knots faster than the cruising speed of a bottlenose dolphin and 5 knots faster than most other personal submersibles available today. This means you can quite literally cruise along side sharks, dolphins, rays, and sea turtles viewing them through the transparent bubble at the front of the craft where your seats are positioned. Distinguished by a long tail and advanced wing design, the [Super Sub](https://www.uboatworx.com/model/supersub) is the most hydrodynamic sub on the market. A best-in class propulsion system with four powerful thrusters delivers a total of 60 kW allowing for steep 30-degree climbs and dives. The result is the smoothest and most exhilarating underwater experience, capable of diving to depths of 300 meters, all while maintaining an almost 360-degree view. ### Alaska Words And Phrases That You Might Hear When You Visit Here are some Alaska words, slang terms, and phrases that you might hear when you visit Alaska. Conceived by an owner whose brief was to create a submarine capable of keeping up with large marine life, the Super Sub delivers an unprecedented eight knots underwater. That's two knots faster than the top cruising speed of a bottlenose dolphin, and five knots faster than the average submersible. Glide behind a bale of sea turtles. Cruise alongside a shiver of sharks. Dive and turn with a school of dolphins or swoop through the undercurrent of a powerful barracuda. The Super Sub is more than a ticket to an underwater theatre, it's a backstage VIP pass that immerses you and your guests in the heart of the action. ## Man Gear Pick of the Month September's Pick Amazon (affiliate) ### Kenyon City Grill Portable Stainless Steel Electric Grill Why we picked it: a grill you can actually carry to the campsite, the tailgate or the cabin without borrowing a truck.
